Would you like to see the longest stone wall in Europe? Why not! It's right here in believe it or not a Croatian place called Ston, among many other amazing attractions. Head onto an adventure from Dubrovnik, gorgeous enough as it is, and visit Orebic, Peljesac island, and Korcula island. Visit the birthplace of the famous world traveler Macko Polo and the rich cultural heritage. Wineries,postcard-like landscapes, 11 hours of pure enjoyment throughout Dalmatia. Tour Highlights:
Following departure from Dubrovnik you will have a short pause on a Dubrovnik bridge from where you can enjoy the stunning main harbor view. After drive along the scenic Adriatic coast we will stop in medieval Ston well- known for its stone wall- longest in Europe (5.5km), narrow streets, and plants of the world oldest active salt pans. After your free time in Ston, we are heading towards Orebić traveling near famous Pelješac vineyards with extraordinary countryside and the old settlements scenery. From Orebić we continue by boat to Korčula.
Get to know Korčula, discover the hidden "kale" by going past the decorated facades of elegant palaces, stepping through the stone streets. Korčula sightseeing includes a visit to the famous world traveler birthplace Marco Polo and free time for rich cultural heritage exploring.
We return to Orebic by boat, then drive to Potomje to visit one of the most famous Croatian wineries. There you can taste top quality Croatian wine types, domestic brandies and liquors, and hear a good advice from a local wine expert. We return to Dubrovnik in the afternoon hours after 11 hours of enjoyment in the beauty of Southern Dalmatia.
